The Children’s Paradise Learning Academy team knows toddlers can be a bundle of endless energy, so we offer a safe environment for exploration, excitement and exercise.
We channel that energy into learning and fun. Toddler classrooms feature our exclusive, milestone-focused approach, “Learn from the Start.” This curriculum was developed by our educational experts to focus on the key developmental milestones specific to infants and toddlers. We’re focused on your child’s development, rather than a specific age – because all children grow and learn at their own pace and in their own unique way. Learning experiences are designed to address the individual needs and abilities of each child, in each classroom.
Preschoolers Rock!
Learning is fun! To help your child prepare for the big world of kindergarten, our customized program is designed to spark a love of learning by exposing your child to a variety of disciplines in an environment that fosters a high-level of socialization and imagination. Our unique Kindergarten Prep Program provides a comprehensive learning experience, and we are proud to say that many of our students test well above average – moving on to some of the area’s gifted and selective schools. As your child advances through the Children’s Paradise program, you will see the progress, growth and maturity that comes with a well-developed curriculum and a caring, professional teaching staff.
Preschoolers also “play as they learn” in our stimulating educational environments. Our child-directed, teacher-supported activities address the whole child by promoting literacy, cognitive and critical-thinking skills. They are immersed in an abundance of hands-on, multisensory activities designed to advance their learning to prepare them for kindergarten and beyond. Our curriculum includes language arts, science, math, social studies, health and physical education.
Social & Physical Development
The Children’s Paradise unique curriculum addresses not just academics but social and physical development as well. As your child advances through the Children’s Paradise program, you can actually see the progress. Children’s Paradise provides an accelerated learning experience geared to the child who wants and needs a challenge. When our children graduate and embark on a “formal education,” they begin at an advanced level and with a love of learning. At Children’s Paradise, your child is our main concern, and our approach is designed to be of maximum benefit to your child’s development – cognitive, social and physical. Children are grouped by age and maturity with each small group, following an exclusive Kindergarten Prep Program that is a combination of HighScope, Emerging Language and Literacy and our very own unique preschool curriculum. We utilize aspects from each to provide a rich learning experience that is developmentally appropriate and customized to meet your child’s needs.
Our preschool program really is the best of everything a curriculum has to offer! Our program features thematic units, teacher-directed instruction both in large and small groups, hands-on learning centres and traditional paper and pencil learning activities. Children’s Paradise teachers encourage and support active learning and exploration. At Children’s Paradise, learning is engaging and fun!
Our curriculum focuses on eight content areas: Approaches to Learning, Social and Emotional Development, Physical Development and Health, Language, Literacy and Communication, Mathematics, Creative Arts, Science and Technology and Social Studies. Our afternoons are spent in less structured pursuits, with plenty of hands-on experiences. We also have an excellent Summer Camp Program filled with lots of fun and special events throughout the summer.
Before & After School Clubs
Experience a great start and finish to every school day! We offer school-age students a structured environment in the morning and afternoons that’s fun and educational.
Mixing independent and organized activities, education and recreation, our Before- and After-School Clubs focus on daily goal setting, team building, homework support, community projects, and self-reflection. Students experience:

We also offer additional programs for school-age students during school breaks, holidays, spring break and summer vacation, with transportation to and from your elementary school. Ask your school director for additional details.
This extra time students have outside of school is used to provide help with homework and for exposure to different activities that may be of interest. This program encompasses the arts, social-skills building, character building and many more. As much as possible, we open various avenues of learning that your child can benefit from as they make their way through their formative years.
